Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Serbanescu Bogdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandros Nicolaou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nicolaou's choice of entrance music: Anubis. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nicolaou gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bogdan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Nicolaou breaks from the clinch.
A jab from Nicolaou finds it's way through Bogdan's defenses.
Nicolaou pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nicolaou shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nicolaou trying to pass the guard but Bogdan defending well.
Nicolaou looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Nicolaou is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bogdan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nicolaou.

Nicolaou postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Bogdan to stand up.

Nicolaou cracks Bogdan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nicolaou lands a body shot.

Nicolaou rushes Bogdan and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Nicolaou has Bogdan pressed against the ropes.

Nicolaou wants the takedown. Bogdan is fighting it off but Nicolaou persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bogdan's guard against the ropes.

Let's hope that Nicolaou has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Nicolaou drops an elbow to the side of Bogdan's head.
Nicolaou is nestled in close to Bogdan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Nicolaou winds up and cracks Bogdan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Nicolaou passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bogdan!
Nicolaou breaks from Bogdan's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nicolaou is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bogdan is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bogdan flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Nicolaou anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bogdan and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Nicolaou slips an arm under Bogdan chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Nicolaou has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Nicolaou is squeezing on Bogdan like an anaconda would it's prey. Bogdan fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
