Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darrell Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Separatto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Donald Separatto was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donald Separatto!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Separatto throws a nice looking combination but Thomas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Separatto keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Thomas closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Thomas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Separatto sprawls well initially but Thomas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Separatto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Thomas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Thomas's back!
Thomas turns into Separatto and is now in his guard.

Separatto can't keep his opponent in guard - Thomas advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Thomas thows a huge punch but Separatto dodges it nicely.

Separatto is looking to escape.

Thomas is trying to work for a kimura but Separatto is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Separatto avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Thomas stands and throws Separatto's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Separatto is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Thomas asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Thomas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Thomas lands a nice forearm strike.
Separatto avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Thomas.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Thomas is working to tighten is grip on Separatto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Separatto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Thomas is really squeezing tight and eventually Separatto passes out! Thomas breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
