With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augusto Pires!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vronsky shoots in but no luck this time.
Vronsky defending well as Pires loads up on a big left hand.

Pires is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vronsky has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Vronsky wants to control the pace but Pires is squirming around nicely.

Pires trying desperately to get to his feet.
Vronsky is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Vronsky pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

You get the feeling that Pires really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Pires parries the strikes from Vronsky easily there. Vronsky is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pires to escape.

Pires is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
