Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ninho De Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from De Souza finds it's target.
De Souza throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Dent tries to clinch but De Souza moves out of range.

The crowd cheers as De Souza lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dent doesn't seem phased though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dent can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as De Souza is looking to escape.
De Souza tries to lock up and control but Dent gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dent lands a big shot there that rocks De Souza but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
De Souza is in a horrible position here. Dent smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Arthur Dent dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

De Souza thuds his right hand into Dent's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Dent shoots for a double leg takedown but De Souza sprawls well. He's pushed Dent's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dent is looking to clinch.
Dent changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Souza tries to avoid it but Dent manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Souza to the ground. De Souza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
De Souza swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
De Souza throws a leg kick but Dent sees it coming and checks it nicely.
De Souza throws a lazy right hand but Dent sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dent shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as De Souza sprawls well. De Souza wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dent gets slowly back to his feet.
Ninho De Souza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Dent.

Dent gets cracked there but stands up to it.
De Souza circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dent closes the distance and clinches up with De Souza, looking for a takedown. Dent pushes De Souza against the cage but De Souza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dent has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from De Souza finds it's way round the side to connect with Dent's head.

Dent is rocked!
De Souza walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Dent drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! De Souza swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Dent's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
