Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yrjo Pieru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buzz Outlaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yrjo Pieru could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Buzz Outlaw's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pieru blocks a jab.
Pieru looks for a takedown but Outlaw sprawls well.

Pieru shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pieru showed some decent athleticism there.

Pieru thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Outlaw's head.

Pieru tries to pass the half guard into mount. Outlaw knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Pieru scores a takedown into full mount!
Poor strikes thrown by Pieru there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Outlaw is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Pieru unloads with some shots from mount but Outlaw bucks and avoids them well.
You get the feeling that Outlaw really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Outlaw avoids a series of strikes thrown by Pieru.
Pieru throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Outlaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pieru. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Outlaw takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Pieru has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Outlaw can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pieru is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Outlaw can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Outlaw is still in real trouble! Can Pieru finish him?
Pieru postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Outlaw badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Pieru around the waist but Pieru pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Pieru is the winner by TKO! Pieru jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
