Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Corner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Beer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Beer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rick Corner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rick Corner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Beer!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Corner clinches but Beer breaks the clinch

and Beer moves into the clinch.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Corner for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Corner lands an elbow inside that Beer shrugs off.
Beer fails to pull guard.
Corner lands an elbow that stopped Beer in his tracks for a moment.
Beer is working for takedown but Corner is calmly controlling the position for now.
Corner is pressed up against the cage. Beer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Corner down to the mat. Corner avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Corner is refusing to be controlled, as Beer sits in half guard.
Corner pushes Beer off looking to stand but Beer dives back in and keeps control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Beer dives in and grabs Corner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Corner pushes down on Beer's head and hops out.

and Beer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Beer jumps guard but Corner stands there with Beer around his waist. Beer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Corner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Corner has managed to get both his arms back between Beer's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Beer shoots in for a takedown but Corner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
