Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yohan Fredrixxs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and pol tuzara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fredrixxs closes the distance and clinches.
Fredrixxs using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Fredrixxs drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

tuzara is trying to force a seperation but Fredrixxs has the dominant position.
tuzara stops a takedown attempt from Fredrixxs.
Fredrixxs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as tuzara walks away with a smile on his face. Fredrixxs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fredrixxs shoots in but no luck this time.
Yohan Fredrixxs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fredrixxs throws a strike but tuzara rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fredrixxs is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and tuzara defends well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fredrixxs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with tuzara but tuzara pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fredrixxs lands with a thumping leg kick.

Fredrixxs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has tuzara pinned against the cage. tuzara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fredrixxs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. tuzara sprawls well initially but Fredrixxs persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fredrixxs bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
