Logan is looking to chop away at Hotaru's legs.
Logan throws a half hearted mid kick.
Logan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hotaru slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Hotaru is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Logan tries to lock up and control but Hotaru gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Logan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hotaru gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hotaru sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Logan's guard.
Hotaru seems to be working for a kimura but Logan defends the submission attempt.

Hotaru wants to pass to mount but Logan is defending the position.
Hotaru winds up and cracks Logan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Logan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hotaru is nestled in close to Logan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hotaru landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hotaru looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hotaru is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Logan is just riding it out for now. Hotaru eventually gives up the hold.

Hoshi Hotaru showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hotaru tries to roll over but Logan keeps him under control.

Hotaru's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Logan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Hotaru might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Logan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Logan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Hoshi Hotaru comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hotaru has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
