Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenshiro Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Matheuss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Matheuss told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamada swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Yamada throws a jab when Matheuss was well out of range.
Yamada avoids the body shot from Matheuss.
Yamada will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Matheuss misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yamada misses with the combination.
A swing and a miss from Yamada.
Matheuss throws the kick towards the body but Yamada avoids it.
Matheuss misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yamada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yamada fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Matheuss on the side of the head.

It looks like David Matheuss has been cut.

Yamada lands a left and a right that send Matheuss crashing to the mat, dazed. Yamada thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Matheuss throws a jab but it's blocked by Yamada.
Yamada takes one to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yamada slips a straight right by Matheuss.
Matheuss tries a head kick but it misses.
Matheuss tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yamada was well out of range. Poor timing from Matheuss.
A decent looking cross lands there for Matheuss.
Matheuss tests Yamada's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Matheuss swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Yamada misses with the combination.
Yamada swinging wildly here.
Yamada swings for the body but Matheuss moves out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Matheuss. That snapped Yamada's head back.
Matheuss throws a series of punches but Yamada avoids them all with ease.
Matheuss loads up on a big right hand but Yamada slips the punch.
Matheuss misses with a hook.
Nice shot lands for Yamada.
Matheuss misses with a straight right.
Yamada cracks Matheuss with a right hand to the side of the head.

Matheuss is rocked!
Yamada tries to bum rush Matheuss with a series of wild strikes but Matheuss uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Yamada swings for the body but Matheuss moves out of range.
Yamada throws a nice looking combination but Matheuss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Yamada misses with an uppercut.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Yamada! Matheuss is backing up but he can't get away as Yamada lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Matheuss and ends the fight. Great knockout.
