Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey MacNamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Duran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mickey MacNamara!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacNamara bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
MacNamara fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duran looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
MacNamara works Duran's body with a nice hook.
MacNamara wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Duran shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts MacNamara as he jumps to the side.
Duran fails to land the takedown.
A left and a right from MacNamara both land. Nice combination.
Duran shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Duran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duran is breathing heavily.
MacNamara lands with a good body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Duran takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Duran takes a shot right to the bread basket.
MacNamara misses with a body shot.
A right-left combo lands from MacNamara.
MacNamara comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Duran takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A shot to de liver by MacNamara. Beautiful body shot.
MacNamara cracks Duran with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Duran has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Duran is rocked!
MacNamara scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duran takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oh Duran is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
MacNamara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duran seems to have got his legs back now.
MacNamara's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and MacNamara duly obliges.
MacNamara lands a nice looking body shot.
MacNamara throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Duran on the side of the head.
Duran dodges the punch combination from MacNamara.
Mickey MacNamara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
MacNamara lands a nice hook to Duran's body. Duran takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Duran. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
MacNamara uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
MacNamara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duran moves away.
MacNamara keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
MacNamara scores with a one two! Duran had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MacNamara drops Duran with a big left hand! Duran is injured, injured bad! MacNamara jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey MacNamara!
