The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell tests BAGCAL's chin there with a solid looking shot.
BAGCAL shoots in for a takedown but Howell shows good takedown defense.
A slapping leg kick lands for BAGCAL.
BAGCAL drops his hands momentarily and Howell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
No joy there for Howell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Howell throws a series of punches but BAGCAL moves out of range.
Howell connects with a jab.
BAGCAL doesn't manage to clinch there - Howell circles away.
Howell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
BAGCAL tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
BAGCAL is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Howell keeps the fight on the outside.
Howell lands a two punch combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Howell darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! BAGCAL's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Howell before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
