The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowles takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mini Boxo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rowles blocks a head kick by Boxo.
Boxo feints and then cracks Rowles's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rowles down.
Boxo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boxo moves out of range as Rowles strikes.

Boxo finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boxo is on top in guard.

Rowles is desperately trying to improve his position but Boxo has a good base and remains in mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Mini Boxo just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Boxo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rowles.

Rowles throws an overhand right that lands on Boxo's shoulder, as Boxo tries to avoid the shot.

Boxo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Boxo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Boxo scores with a jab. Rowles acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Rowles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boxo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mini Boxo will probably get the nod.

That's time! Boxo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Rowles throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rowles moves out of range as Boxo strikes.
Boxo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rowles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boxo misses with a low kick as Rowles jumps back.
Boxo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rowles.

and Rowles counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Boxo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rowles on the side of the head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boxo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rowles has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rowles and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Boxo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rowles sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rowles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boxo as he avoids it easily.

Rowles takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rowles shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boxo sprawls well. Boxo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rowles gets slowly back to his feet.
Mini Boxo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Rowles.

Boxo lands a big head kick that sends Rowles tumbling to the mat! Boxo takes a step backwards and waves Rowles back to his feet - he wants the finish!
