The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chappelle closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chappelle lands in his opponent's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Chappelle jumps guard but Karlsson stands there with Chappelle around his waist. Chappelle gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Chappelle has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Karlsson uses from the top position.

Karlsson kicks Chappelle off and gets to his feet.

Karlsson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chappelle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dave Chappelle will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Karlsson looks to clinch

and Chappelle counters with a single leg into guard. Karlsson didn't expect that.

Karlsson seems to be stalking Chappelle here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Chappelle drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
