The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Shamrock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Shamrock.
Bungholz is looking to clinch but Shamrock is avoiding it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Shamrock lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bungholz has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bungholz and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bungholz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shamrock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bungholz wants to get up but he can't break Shamrock's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bungholz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shamrock walks away with a smile on his face. Bungholz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A close round but Tyler Shamrock will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Tyler Shamrock.
