The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Penn or perhaps it was just good defense by Golobew which made him look bad.
A looping hook to the body misses from Golobew. Penn does a little dance to reset his feet.

Golobew shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Golobew showed some decent athleticism there.
Penn is looking for a sweep. Golobew is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Penn is bucking up trying to escape but Golobew cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
