Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kawakami Gensai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colonel Chilcoat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gensai comes to the cage accompanied by SAMURAI X - Opening. Colonel Chilcoat has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kawakami Gensai's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gensai wants to clinch up but Chilcoat keeps it at a distance.

Chilcoat drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gensai dives on top into guard.

Chilcoat escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gensai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Chilcoat is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Chilcoat throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gensai sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Well Chilcoat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
