The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lebowski.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lebowski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stern sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lebowski somewhat.

Stern leaves Lebowski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Lebowski closes the distance and clinches up with Stern, looking for a takedown. Lebowski pushes Stern against the cage but Stern circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stern stalks Lebowski and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lebowski's face. Lebowski staggers backwards, shaken.

Stern throws a jab when Lebowski was well out of range.
Lebowski seems to have recovered his senses.
Lebowski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stern misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Avery Stern is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stern fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lebowski manages to avoid it.

Lebowski closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stern to the mat! Stern manages to get full guard.
Stern knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lebowski on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stern throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stern is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lebowski.

Stern drops Lebowski with a beautiful combination! Lebowski stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stern is looking for the KO!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Stern knocks Lebowski out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
