Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Clottey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chambers comes to the cage accompanied by Nightmare - Chris Sheppard. Clottey is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I'm So Hood. Chambers has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Joshua Clottey will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joshua Clottey!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clottey shoots in for a double leg but Chambers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Clottey throws a body kick that misses.
Clottey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Clottey shoots for a takedown but Chambers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Clottey throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Clottey tries to clinch there but Chambers circles away.
Clottey shoots in for a takedown but Chambers shows good takedown defense.
Jason Chambers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshua Clottey.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clottey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Chambers is breathing heavily.

Clottey thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Chambers is not content to let Clottey control the position.

Horrible takedown by Clottey or perhaps it was just good defense by Chambers which made him look bad.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Chambers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chambers wants it to stay on the feet.
Clottey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Chambers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clottey.
Chambers throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Clottey throws a right and a left that both miss.

The fight stays on the outside here - Clottey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Clottey tries for a takedown but Chambers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clottey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chambers defends it nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chambers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Clottey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Clottey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Clottey shoots in for a double leg but Chambers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

An inside leg kick from Chambers misses.
Clottey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chambers as he jumps to the side.
Chambers throws a leg kick but Clottey sees it coming and checks it nicely.

The fighters circling - Clottey throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Chambers throws a low kick, looking for Clottey's leg but Clottey calmly moves out of range.
Clottey misses with a body shot.
Clottey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Chambers misses with a low kick.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clottey wants to get up but he can't break Chambers's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Clottey trying to control the position from guard on top but Chambers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Clottey wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Chambers's closed guard. He's half up but Chambers has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Chambers pivots and extends the arm, Clottey falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Chambers! Well done that man!
