Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reg Magno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrance Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reg Magno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Terrance Smith!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magno wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
Magno throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magno off to one side.
Magno tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Smith throws a shot from downtown. Magno moves away and avoids it.
Smith throws a series of punches but Magno moves out of range.
Magno wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
Magno will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Magno shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Magno's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Magno tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Magno throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magno off to one side.

Magno slips a jab and a cross from Smith.

Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Magno.

Magno uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Magno moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Smith lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Magno moved out of range.
Smith looks to land a left hand but Magno moved out of range nicely.
Smith throws a right hand that Magno ducks under and follows up with a left that Magno also avoids with ease.
Magno tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it.

Magno rushes Smith and presses him up against the cage.
Magno jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Magno gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Terrance Smith dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Smith throws a hook but Magno avoids it easily.

Magno swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Magno is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smith tests Magno's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Smith stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Magno has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Smith tries to buck Magno off but he can't manage it.
BOOM! Magno connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Smith sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Magno throws and elbow that misses. Smith uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Magno's guard. Nice move by Smith!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Magno is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control.

Magno misses with a head shot. Smith uses the momentum to regain guard.
Smith utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Smith is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Magno's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Magno takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Magno keeps control of Smith as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Smith looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Magno tries to work over Smith's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Magno can't find room to land a body shot as Smith controls the action.
Smith is trying to break the clinch but Magno has him pressed against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Reg Magno.
