The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnould doesn't manage to clinch there - Barracus circles away.

Barracus closes the distance and pushes Arnould back into the cage.

Barracus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Arnould tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Barracus counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Arnould throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Barracus tries to stand but Arnould is controlling from the bottom.
Barracus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arnould swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Arnould should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Barracus wants to get up but he can't break Arnould's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Arnould wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Barracus moves into the clinch.

Arnould tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Barracus smiles and moves away.
Arnould doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Barracus moves into the clinch.
Barracus throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Arnoulds head.
Barracus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Arnould has him pressed against the cage.

Barracus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Arnould.
Brutus Artemis Barracus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kane Arnould.
Arnould misses with a head kick.

and Barracus counters with a stiff right hand.
Barracus pivots, looking for a leg kick but Arnould is out of range and Barracus settles back down.

Arnould tries to clinch but Barracus moves away
and Barracus counters with a left and a right that stings Arnould.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arnould shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Barracus counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Barracus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Arnould is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Barracus has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Arnould has a closed guard, preventing Barracus from standing up.
Barracus is looking to work some ground and pound but Arnould has wrist control.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Arnould closes the distance and clinches up with Barracus, looking for a takedown. Arnould pushes Barracus against the cage but Barracus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Barracus's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Barracus duly obliges.

and Barracus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Arnould!

Arnould is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Barracus trying to control but Arnould is having none of it.
Barracus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
BOOM! Barracus connects with a massive shot to the dome!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Barracus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Barracus moves into the clinch.
Arnould has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Barracus is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Barracus throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Barracus is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Barracus looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Barracus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Arnould clinches but Barracus breaks the clinch

and Barracus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Barracus.
Barracus cracks Arnould with a solid left hand.
Barracus has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Arnould is proving hard to escape from.
Barracus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Arnould on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Arnould manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Barracus tries to lock up and control but Arnould gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Barracus wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Barracus is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Barracus is trying to escape the mount.

Arnould is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Barracus is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Barracus flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Arnould anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Barracus and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Arnould slips an arm under Barracus chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Arnould has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Arnould is squeezing on Barracus like an anaconda would it's prey. Barracus fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
