Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, LuLi Pro!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pro keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pro wants it to stay on the feet.

Pro scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Johnson throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Pro decides to stand back up. Pro steps back and let's Johnson get back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dave Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.
Pro preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Pro wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.
Pro holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Pro is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Pro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Pro stands and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Johnson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Pro's best efforts.
Pro blocks the strikes from Johnson.
Pro is thwarting Johnson's attempts to control the position.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pro can do anything to dispel that myth.

Johnson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pro is now in Johnson's guard. A big mistake from Johnson there, giving up the dominant position!

Johnson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Johnson is not content to let Pro control the position.
Johnson is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Pro tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Pro trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Johnson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Johnson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
A nice elbow there by Pro.

Johnson is bucking up trying to escape but Pro cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Pro lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

LuLi Pro dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt

and Pro counters with a shoot takedown. Johnson fights it but they end up in guard.
Pro trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pro escapes and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Pro controls the position.
Johnson tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pro working the body and head with strikes.
Johnson is trying to control Pro's posture but Pro avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is not content to let Pro control the position.
Pro working away.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Pro gets caught flat footed, as Johnson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Johnson wants to control from the top but Pro keeps moving.

Johnson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pro has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Johnson but great work by Pro.

Johnson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Pro not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Johnson shoots and misses

and Pro counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that.
Johnson wants to control but Pro postures up.
Pro cracks Johnson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Pro looking to control but instead Johnson has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Pro blocks the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson is trying to get back to full guard.
Johnson is staying active underneath Pro, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Johnson gets a clinch.
Pro tries for a takedown but Johnson manages to get underhooks.
Johnson lands with a light punch inside.
A frustrated look appears on Pro's face as he tries to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

LuLi Pro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Johnson tries to clinch up but Pro circles away and keeps his distance.
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson shoots and misses

and Pro counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pro.

Pro decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!

Pro is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Johnson's half guard.
Well, if Pro is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Johnson tries to get to full guard but Pro has control of the leg.
Johnson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Johnson.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pro is aware though and is defending well.

LuLi Pro has got the better of the ground game so far.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Pro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.
Johnson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Pro showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Pro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Johnson's guard.
Johnson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Pro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well.

Johnson moves into full guard.
Johnson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Johnson working for a triangle but Pro defends it easily.
Pro trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Pro might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Johnson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Johnson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Dave Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pro avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
LuLi Pro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Pro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pro has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.

And that's the end of the fight!
LuLi Pro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Pro winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
