The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badr shoots in but Berger avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Badr fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Badr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Berger avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hari Badr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Berger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Badr did well to prevent Berger getting side control.
Badr flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Berger is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Badr is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
