Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hinner will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Fauteux is trying to trip Hinner. He has hold of a leg but Hinner is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fauteux persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Hinner throws a lazy right hand but Fauteux sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fauteux has his foot on Hinner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hinner works his way back into a safe position though.
Hinner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hinner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fauteux drops back looking for a leg! Hinner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hinner manages to kick Fauteux off! Fauteux jumps back into Hinner's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hinner is on top in guard.
Hinner tries to free his leg and advance position but Fauteux is retaining full guard.

Hinner has gone for a leg lock! Fauteux slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hinner's guard.
