The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCready avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clifton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

McCready has managed to clinch.
Clifton tries to work over McCready's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
McCready lands with a left to the head.
McCready prevents a takedown attempt there.
McCready gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Clifton.

McCready lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Clifton fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Declan McCready has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordie Clifton.
McCready lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Clifton backwards.
Clifton is working for takedown but McCready is calmly controlling the position for now.
