Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Emanuel - The Hey Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bart Griffin!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Griffin shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Griffin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Griffin thows a left - swing and a miss!

Griffin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Brown can't do much from the bottom here.
Brown tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Griffin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Griffin tries for a kimura but Brown is defending well.

Brown is trying to maintain the position but Griffin is very close to passing his half guard.
Brown pushes Griffin off looking to stand but Griffin dives back in and keeps control.
Griffin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Griffin thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Brown throws a right hand that Griffin ducks under and follows up with a left that Griffin also avoids with ease.
Griffin seems to have recovered his senses.

Brown fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Griffin.
Good leg kick by Brown there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This has been an exciting period of action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Griffin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brown - the referee stops the clock and Griffin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brown. Griffin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
