The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanka shoots in looking for a takedown. Roosevelt tries to sprawl out of it but Blanka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roosevelt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Pedro Blanka has been cut.
Blanka has a takedown stuffed.
Roosevelt swats away the attempt to clinch by Blanka.
Blanka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roosevelt sprawls well. Roosevelt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blanka gets slowly back to his feet.

Blanka wants to control the pace but Roosevelt is squirming around nicely.
Blanka unloads with some shots from mount but Roosevelt bucks and avoids them well.

Blanka swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Roosevelt is now in Blanka's guard. A big mistake from Blanka there, giving up the dominant position!
