The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duo misses with a series of wild punches.

Duo throws a hook but Banner blocks it.
Banner fails to land the takedown.
Duo wants to clinch.

It looks like Robert Banner has been cut.
Snickers Duo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Banner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Banner somewhat.
Banner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Banner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Banner changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Banner.

That has opened up Snickers Duo's cut even more.
Banner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Duo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Banner uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Duo has time to react.

The cut above Snickers Duo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Banner lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Banner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Banner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Banner lands a jab to Duo's midsection.
Banner misses with a takedown attempt - Duo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
