The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leonov drops Gracie Jr with a beautiful combination! Gracie Jr stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Leonov is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jorge Gracie Jr has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Leonov throws a lazy right hand but Gracie Jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Some wild striking there from Leonov.
Vadim Leonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie Jr blocks a jab.
Leonov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Leonov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gracie Jr closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Leonov did well to prevent Gracie Jr getting side control.

Gracie Jr is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Leonov defends it well.

Gracie Jr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A head kick by Leonov - that's a beauty! Gracie Jr is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Leonov can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
