Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonid Dmitriev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Dmitriev has chosen Sukh Knight - Diesel Not Petrol as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dmitriev waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Jones. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Jones to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Tom Jones has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jones is pressing down on Dmitriev's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dmitriev is holding on for now.

Dmitriev is breathing heavily.
Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dmitriev knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dmitriev is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!
Dmitriev gets his hands free as Jones looks to control.
Dmitriev throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Jones!
Jones rolls, trying to escape but Dmitriev keeps control of the position.

Dmitriev has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Jones rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Jones can't keep his opponent in guard - Dmitriev advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Jones is looking for a sweep. Dmitriev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dmitriev is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!
Dmitriev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Tom Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jones lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Dmitriev tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Dmitriev fails to land the takedown.

Dmitriev slips under a jab.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dmitriev thuds his right hand into Jones's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dmitriev's hands.

Tom Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonid Dmitriev.
