Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chubekka Chubbi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibsons swinging wildly here.
No luck for Gibsons with that takedown attempt.
Gibsons throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chubbi throws a head kick that misses.
A combination from Gibsons does no damage.
Gibsons shoots in but no luck this time.
Gibsons looks to land a combination but Chubbi avoids it well.
Chubbi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Gibsons to counter with a crisp jab.

and Chubbi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gibsons won't be happy with that.
Chubekka Chubbi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Gibsons.

Gibsons tries to bench press Chubbi off him but Chubbi keeps the position.
Chubbi decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Gibsons is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chubbi.

Gibsons shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chubbi defends it nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chubbi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chubbi has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Gibsons moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Gibsons misses with a double jab
and Chubbi counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Chubbi fails with the takedown
and Gibsons counters with a left and a right that stings Chubbi.
Gibsons pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gibsons throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Gibsons darts in and clinches Chubbi up against the cage.
Gibsons is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chubbi pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Chubbi is looking to control Gibsons's arms but Gibsons gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chubbi has his back to the cage.
Chubbi gets underhooks to prevent Gibsons's takedown attempt.
Chubbi looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Chubbi tries to stall but Gibsons uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gibsons wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Gibsons lands a damaging elbow.
Chubbi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gibsons stuffs the takedown attempt from Chubbi. Chubbi gets slowly back to his feet.

Gibsons throws a combination that misses
and Chubbi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That's time! Chubbi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Chubbi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gibsons.
Gibsons fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Chubbi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gibsons's guard now.

Chubbi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Gibsons is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chubbi is controlling him.

Gibsons is trying to hold Chubbi in close to prevent damage but Chubbi has managed to pass into half guard.
Well, if Chubbi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Gibsons lands with a thumping leg kick.
Chubbi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gibsons.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Gibsons throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gibsons circles away from the clinch attempt
and Gibsons counters with an outside leg kick.
Chubbi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Chubbi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chubbi wants it to stay on the feet.
Chubbi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gibsons pivots, looking for a leg kick but Chubbi is out of range and Gibsons settles back down.
Chubbi instigates a clinch.
Gibsons with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Chubbi drags the fight down to the ground.
Chubbi wants to get back to his feet but Gibsons is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Chubbi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gibsons!
Chubbi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Chubbi escapes and gets back to his feet.

Chubbi dives in and grabs Gibsons's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gibsons pushes down on Chubbi's head and hops out.

Chubekka Chubbi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gibsons tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chubbi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gibsons somewhat.

and Chubbi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Danny Gibsons has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Chubekka Chubbi showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chubbi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
