The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightyear throws a sloppy head kick and Dempsey moves out of range easily.
Buzz Lightyear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dempsey stalks Lightyear and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lightyear's face. Lightyear staggers backwards, shaken.

Dempsey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lightyear circles away quickly and effectively.
Dempsey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lightyear tries to clinch up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dempsey, as that shot connected.
Dempsey scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Dempsey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lightyear gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Dempsey scores with the left hand. Lightyear knows he should have avoided that one.

Dempsey lands a really nice looking cross but Lightyear seems unphased.

Lightyear pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Dempsey cracks Lightyear with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Dempsey dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dempsey throws a nice looking combination but Lightyear bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dempsey scores with a jab. Lightyear acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Dempsey connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Lightyear tumbling to the canvas! Dempsey pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Lightyear was done - good stoppage!
