Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Brickwall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Munoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Brickwall!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brickwall avoids a punch combination nicely.
Munoz misses with a wild combination.
Brickwall keeps the fight on the outside.
Munoz shoots for a double leg takedown but Brickwall sprawls well. He's pushed Munoz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Munoz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Munoz misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Munoz tries to clinch up.
Munoz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brickwall's waist but Brickwall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Munoz off to one side.

Brickwall takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Chris Brickwall has been cut.

Brickwall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Brickwall has eaten all the pies!
Brickwall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Munoz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brickwall loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Brickwall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Munoz is keeping the position for now.
Brickwall controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Brickwall is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brickwall swats away the attempt to clinch by Munoz.

Brickwall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Munoz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

I looks like Brickwall might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Munoz keeping moving, preventing Brickwall from controlling successfully.
Brickwall is stalling in the full guard.
Munoz wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brickwall is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Munoz throws a low kick but it's checked well by Brickwall.

Munoz forces Brickwall back against the cage and clinches.
Brickwall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brickwall can't get the takedown.
Brickwall tries for a takedown but Munoz manages to get underhooks.
Hector Munoz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Brickwall.

Munoz breaks the clinch.
Munoz is looking to clinch but Brickwall is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brickwall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Munoz swivels and escapes.
Munoz moves in looking to clinch but Brickwall pushes him off.

Brickwall tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Munoz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brickwall is looking to escape.

Brickwall sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Munoz is looking to advance position but Brickwall won't allow it.
Brickwall moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brickwall is on top in guard.
Brickwall looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brickwall slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Brickwall is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Munoz taking punishment in the form of punches.
Brickwall tries to move into full mount but can't pass Munoz's legs.
Brickwall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Munoz keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Despite being in the dominant position, Chris Brickwall just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Munoz wants to clinch.
Brickwall shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Munoz counters by clinching up.
Brickwall fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Munoz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Brickwall counters with a single leg into guard. Munoz didn't expect that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Chris Brickwall will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Munoz tries to clinch but Brickwall moves out of range.
Brickwall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Munoz as he jumps to the side.
Munoz throws a right hand that Brickwall ducks under and follows up with a left that Brickwall also avoids with ease.
Munoz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Munoz fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brickwall scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Brickwall staying calm.
Let's hope that Brickwall has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Munoz is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Munoz tries to improve position but can't.
Chris Brickwall has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Munoz looks to move to half guard but instead Brickwall has passed into mount! Damn!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Munoz is squirming around, avoiding Brickwall's attempts to control the action.

I've got Brickwall winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
