Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rinta Pelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aleksander Putin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aleksander Putin!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelle throws a right and a left that Putin avoids nicely.
Pelle darts in and clinches Putin up against the cage.
Putin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Putin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Putin fails with a takedown attempt.
Putin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pelle defends it nicely.
Pelle moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Aleksander Putin has been cut.
Putin tries to keep at a distance but Pelle has taken the fight into the clinch.
Putin misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pelle softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Pelle has had enough of the clinch but Putin keeps him there for the moment.
Putin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Putin misses with a punch to the body.
Putin misses with a body punch.
Pelle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pelle lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Putin slips under a jab.
Pelle lands a left and a right that send Putin crashing to the mat, dazed. Pelle thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Putin is rocked!
Pelle scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Putin is still on wobbly legs! Can Pelle finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round.
Putin swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Pelle rushes Putin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pelle stalling in the clinch.
Putin seems to have recovered his senses.
Putin has Pelle pressed against the cage, preventing Pelle from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Pelle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pelle lands a big uppercut and Putin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Putin looks OK. Pelle waves Putin back to his feet!
Putin on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Putin loses concentration momentarily and Pelle pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Putin crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Pelle finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rinta Pelle!
