The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain misses with a takedown attempt - Danko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Danko as he jumps to the side.
Danko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pain moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Danko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Donk. Danko catches Pain right on the button with a cross.
Pain walks straight into a right hand from Danko - that's dropped him! Danko jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pain from any more punishment! Pain complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
