The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plant throws a head kick that Karpov semi-blocks.
Plant tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Plant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
