Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zhorka Popkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Broyles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Broyles has chosen Rush- Tom Sawyer as his entrance music. Zhorka Popkin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Scott Broyles's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broyles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Popkin swivels and escapes.
Popkin misses with an uppercut. Broyles saw that one coming.
Broyles will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Broyles manages to reverse the position and now he's in Popkin's guard. Nice work there by Broyles.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Broyles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Popkin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Broyles drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Popkin dives on top into guard.

Broyles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Popkin is aware though and is defending well.
Popkin wants to get up but he can't break Broyles's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
