Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Simpson looking to pass the guard.
Simpson drops back looking for a leg! Fontana is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fontana manages to kick Simpson off! Simpson jumps back into Fontana's guard.
Fontana is trying to control the position but Simpson postures up.
Simpson won't allow Fontana to sweep him here.
Simpson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Fontana looking for a guillotine here but Simpson defends easily.
Fontana looks gassed!
Simpson wants to pass the guard but Fontana is keeping the position.
Simpson is working hard here to advance position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Fontana swats away the attempt to clinch by Simpson.
Fontana moves into the clinch successfully.

Simpson throws a head punch that misses.
Fontana has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Simpson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fontana tries to pull guard but Simpson holds him up against the cage and eventually Fontana drops back down to his feet.
Fontana tries for a takedown but Simpson manages to get underhooks.
Fred Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Fontana.
Simpson swings wildly with an uppercut but Fontana uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fontana goes for a takedown attempt but Simpson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Simpson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fontana's waist but Fontana gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Simpson off to one side.
Fontana keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fontana lands a head kick. Simpson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Fred Simpson has been cut.
Simpson shoots for a double leg takedown but Fontana sprawls well. He's pushed Simpson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fontana shoots in but Simpson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Simpson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fontana's waist but Fontana gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Simpson off to one side.
Fontana forces Simpson back against the cage and clinches.
Simpson swings wildly with an uppercut but Fontana uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fontana breaks the clinch.
Fontana has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fontana is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Simpson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Fontana lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Simpson stops a takedown attempt from Fontana.
Fontana tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Simpson smiles and moves away.
Simpson tries for a takedown but Fontana circles away easily
and Fontana counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fontana.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Simpson is looking for a triangle but Fontana pushes his legs off easily.
Fontana avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Simpson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fontana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simpson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Simpson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Fontana throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Simpson's body to avoid the submission. Simpson has instead reached around Fontana's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Simpson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
