The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowjaw looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lowjaw fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lowjaw tries to clinch but Bastos moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Bastos.
Lowjaw closes the distance and clinches up with Bastos, looking for a takedown. Lowjaw pushes Bastos against the cage but Bastos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lowjaw tries to pull guard but Bastos won't allow it.

Bastos blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bastos has eaten all the pies!
Lowjaw tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bastos just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bastos pulls guard effortlessly.
Bastos wants to get back to his feet but Lowjaw is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bastos is trying to control the position but Lowjaw postures up.

Bastos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lowjaw on the side of the head.
Lowjaw wants to clinch but Bastos slips to the side

and Bastos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

and Bastos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lowjaw has Bastos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bastos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lowjaw drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bastos gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bastos tries for a takedown but Lowjaw manages to get underhooks.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Lowjaw misses with the head strike.

Lowjaw pulls guard successfully.

Bastos is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lowjaw has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bastos is looking to defend but Lowjaw has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bastos! Lowjaw pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bastos taps out and this one is all over!
