Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arthur Araujo!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard keeps the fight on the outside.
Araujo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Howard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Howard shoots in for a takedown but Araujo shows good takedown defense.
Araujo wants to clinch up but Howard keeps it at a distance.
Howard keeps the fight on the outside.
Howard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Araujo drives through and clinches with Howard against the cage.
Araujo goes for a takedown attempt but Howard pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Howard throws an overhand right that lands on Araujo's shoulder, as Araujo tries to avoid the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Araujo moves in looking to clinch but Howard pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Araujo swinging wildly here.
Araujo misses with a double jab.
Howard misses with a takedown attempt - Araujo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Araujo is looking to clinch but Howard is avoiding it.
Araujo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No luck for Howard with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Duarte Howard. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Howard. Araujo does a little dance to reset his feet.
No luck for Howard with that takedown attempt.
Araujo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Duarte Howard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Araujo tries to close the distance and clinch but Howard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Arthur Araujo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

It looks like Duarte Howard has been cut.
Howard throws a jab but it's blocked by Araujo.
Howard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Araujo is fending him off so far but Howard persists. Nope, Araujo circles away and we're back to standing.
Araujo lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Howard can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Araujo and Howard drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Araujo.
