Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roni Old Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Austin's choice of entrance music: Stone Cold Steve Austin's entrance music. Steve Austin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Roni Old Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Austin!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Old Man ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Austin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Old Man is trying to defend but Austin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Austin is pressing down on Old Man's thigh, looking to free his foot. Old Man is holding on for now.
Old Man is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Austin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Old Man is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Austin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Old Man can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Austin lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Old Man is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Old Man's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Austin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Austin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Austin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Austin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Old Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Austin wants to control the pace but Old Man is squirming around nicely.
Austin is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Old Man is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Austin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Old Man looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Austin lands a big shot there that rocks Old Man but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Austin dominated that round.
That's time! Old Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Austin throws a combination. Old Man tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Austin slips a jab and a cross from Old Man.
Austin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Austin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Austin moves out of range of the strikes.
Old Man misses with a hook.
Old Man misses the jab.
Old Man jabs Austin right on the nose. Austin blinks but takes it well.
Austin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Old Man misses with a double jab
and Austin counters with a one-two to the body.
Austin lands with a thumping leg kick.

Austin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Austin wants to control but Old Man is keeping him busy.

Austin just content to control the position.

Austin prevents Old Man from escaping the position.
Austin sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Old Man is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Old Man is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Austin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Austin tries for a kimura but Old Man is defending well.
Austin is breathing heavily.
Austin wants to control but Old Man is keeping him busy.
Old Man on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Old Man tries to get out of the position.
Old Man is pushing Austin's head away, looking to escape. Austin manages to hold on to the position though.

Austin tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Old Man wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Austin looks up at the clock and then as Old Man takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Austin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Austin throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Old Man wants to get back to his feet.

Austin has an Americana. Old Man didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Austin is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Austin hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Steve Austin!
