Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zhang Tsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hironimus Sokrateles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hironimus Sokrateles!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tsu moves into the clinch.

Tsu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tsu could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Tsu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tsu cracks the inside of Sokrateles's front leg.
Tsu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sokrateles.
Tsu tries to close the distance and clinch but Sokrateles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sokrateles shoots in but no luck this time.
Tsu wants to clinch up but Sokrateles keeps it at a distance.
Tsu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sokrateles.
Zhang Tsu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hironimus Sokrateles.

Tsu gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Tsu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sokrateles fails to land the takedown.

Tsu clinches up with Sokrateles and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Hironimus Sokrateles has been cut.

Tsu forces Sokrateles back against the cage and clinches.

Tsu manages to break the clinch.

Tsu darts in and clinches Sokrateles up against the cage.
Tsu gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sokrateles.
Sokrateles takes an elbow to the temple.
Tsu stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Tsu lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sokrateles backwards.
Tsu controlling the action here for a moment.
Tsu landing knees to the head.
Tsu lands a left hand.
Sokrateles is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tsu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Tsu gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Tsu breaks from the clinch.

Sokrateles tries to keep at a distance but Tsu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Tsu obliges.

Tsu prevents a takedown attempt there.

Tsu manages to break the clinch.

Sokrateles fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sokrateles shoots in looking for a takedown. Tsu tries to sprawl out of it but Sokrateles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tsu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tsu closes the distance and clinches.

Tsu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sokrateles darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sokrateles is trying for a kimura here. Tsu looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sokrateles wins by kimura!
