Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waldir Maluco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pouncy McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maluco throws a looping overhand right but McGee ducks down to avoid it.
McGee feints and as Maluco raises his hands in defense, McGee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Maluco pulls McGee in to control the position.
Maluco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGee on the ground.
McGee drops back looking for a leg! Maluco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maluco manages to kick McGee off! McGee jumps back into Maluco's guard.
Maluco is looking for a triangle but McGee pushes his legs off easily.

McGee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

McGee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Maluco to the mat! Maluco manages to get full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McGee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
McGee tries to control but Maluco wriggling away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Maluco holds on to McGee as tight as he can, avoiding damage.

McGee has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Maluco's face.

Maluco bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

McGee had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Maluco is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McGee Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Maluco's back instead.
McGee is looking for the choke from the back position but Maluco is controlling his hands well.
Maluco trying to control the action but McGee just sinks the hooks in.
McGee is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Maluco has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but McGee has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Maluco taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. McGee doesn't care though - he's delighted!
