Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Chuva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greig Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen Duality as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcelo Chuva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Greig Smith!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuva throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chuva misses with a two punch combination.
Chuva swinging wildly here.
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Chuva pushes him off.
Smith throws a left and a right that both miss
and Chuva counters with a series of strikes that sends Smith to the canvas! Chuva follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Smith is rocked!
Smith is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Smith has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chuva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Chuva stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Chuva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith moves into the clinch.
Smith changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chuva fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith wants to clinch but Chuva slips to the side
and Chuva counters with a left and a right that hurts Smith! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Chuva jumps into full mount!
Smith is still in real trouble! Can Chuva finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chuva postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Smith in real trouble here! The ref calls for Smith to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcelo Chuva!
