The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

ruffy forces Johnson back against the cage and clinches.

Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Johnson closes the distance but ruffy moves to the side

so ruffy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
ruffy wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.
Johnson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
ruffy pushes down on Johnson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
ruffy is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Johnson!
Johnson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
ruffy looking for a sweep. Not yet ruffy, not yet.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
ruffy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson!
ruffy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.
Johnson is in a horrible position here. ruffy smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Dave Johnson has been cut.

ruffy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Johnson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Johnson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. ruffy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Johnson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! ruffy slips an arm under Johnson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. ruffy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. ruffy is squeezing on Johnson like an anaconda would it's prey. Johnson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
