Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Hrozny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Link Gaetz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hrozny comes to the ring accompanied by 'Paint It Black' by The Rolling Stones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaetz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horrible takedown by Gaetz or perhaps it was just good defense by Hrozny which made him look bad.

Hrozny changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gaetz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hrozny throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hrozny tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gaetz is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hrozny asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Hrozny wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gaetz, who protects the arm well.

Gaetz is pushing Hrozny's head away, looking to escape. Hrozny manages to hold on to the position though.

Hrozny is trying to get an arm triangle but Gaetz is defending well.
Hrozny creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gaetz sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Hrozny goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gaetz rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hrozny's guard! Nice work there by Gaetz!

Gaetz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hrozny has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gaetz has managed to get both his arms back between Hrozny's legs - danger averted.

Gaetz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hrozny looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hrozny looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hrozny!

Hrozny wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gaetz keeps working.

Gaetz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Gaetz tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Hrozny cracks Gaetz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

It looks like Link Gaetz has been cut.

Hrozny postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Gaetz badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hrozny around the waist but Hrozny pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hrozny is the winner by TKO! Hrozny jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
