Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Boyce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Jones!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyce misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Boyce.
Jones tries for a takedown but Boyce sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Boyce throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tommy Boyce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boyce throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boyce, as that shot connected.
Jones has managed to clinch.
Jones wants a takedown.
Boyce wants to break free but Jones has control.
Boyce is trying to break free.
Jones will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Boyce up against the cage.
Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Boyce trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boyce's guard.
Boyce preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jones with a nice head shot there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boyce keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.

Jones stops Boyce from standing up.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Boyce is retaining full guard.
Boyce knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
Boyce is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boyce is breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boyce as he avoids it easily.

Jones instigates a clinch.
Jones breaks from the clinch.
Boyce looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Boyce misses with a two punch combination.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boyce as he avoids it easily.
Boyce tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boyce gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jones content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones connects with a couple of short punches.
Jones stands and steps away. Boyce gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boyce looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boyce.
Boyce lands a nice shot to the body.
Boyce misses with a body kick.
Boyce throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jones tries for a takedown but Boyce sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boyce wants to get back to his feet.
Boyce is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard.
Jones stalling.

Jones is keen to just control but Boyce is a slippery customer.
Jones lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Boyce pushes Jones off looking to stand but Jones dives back in and keeps control.
Jones is tying to control. Boyce wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Boyce wants to get back to his feet.
Jones lands strikes from half guard.
Jones sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Boyce blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jones.
Boyce pushes Jones off looking to stand but Jones dives back in and keeps control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Boyce rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boyce misses with a few strikes there.
Jones feints and as Boyce raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones slips nicely into half guard.
Boyce is trying to stand back up but Jones is controlling him
Jones is keen to just control but Boyce is a slippery customer.
Boyce kicks Jones off and gets back to his feet.
Boyce throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boyce looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Boyce wants to get back to his feet but Jones drags him back down.
Jones lands an elbow.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boyce explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Boyce pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boyce goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Boyce throws a wild body kick that Jones sees coming a mile off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Jones dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Boyce lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.
Boyce looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice combo by Boyce! Oh, that's hurt him - Jones falls to the canvas and Boyce follows him into side control.
Jones is rocked!
Boyce has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Boyce finish him?
Boyce swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones looks up at the clock. Bad move! Boyce lands a right hand from hell, dropping Jones. Boyce pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Boyce!
