The crowd seem to be enjoying Phants's choice of entrance music: Voodoo Chile. Pooby Phants has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Julli Pulli's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pulli shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Phants's guard.
Pulli postures up in Phants's guard and throws a big left but Phants blocks it.
Pulli trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pulli is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Pulli pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Phants is keeping the position for now.

Pulli drops back, looking for a kneebar! Phants looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Phants looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Phants!
You can see the frustration on Pulli's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pulli tries to bench press Phants off him but Phants keeps the position.
Pulli is trying to control Phants's posture but Phants avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pulli misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Pulli or perhaps it was just good defense by Phants which made him look bad.
Phants lands with a hook. Pulli tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Pulli is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Phants knocks Pulli out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
