Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Tip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddel has chosen Chuck Liddel as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Tip!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chuck Liddel!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tip shoots for a takedown but Liddel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tip.
Liddel tries to improve position but can't.
Liddel wants to control but Tip postures up.
Liddel is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Tip is staying active.

Tip thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tip is breathing heavily.
Liddel is looking for a sweep.
Liddel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tip tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tip scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Liddel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Liddel scores with a push kick.

Liddel gets a clinch.

Liddel breaks the clinch.
Liddel tries to score with a low kick but Tip moves his leg out of the way.
A swing and a miss from Liddel.
Liddel avoids the head kick by Tip.
Tip avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tip changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liddel tries to avoid it but Tip manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liddel to the ground. Liddel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tip looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Tip. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Liddel stuffs the takedown attempt from Tip. Tip gets slowly back to his feet.
Liddel swings for the body but Tip moves out of range.
Tip shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liddel as he avoids it easily.
Tip fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Liddel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tip drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tip tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Tip wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Liddel, who protects the arm well.
Liddel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tip. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tip tries for a kimura but Liddel is defending well.
You can see the frustration on Liddel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Tip goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Liddel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tip but great work by Liddel.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tip tries to bench press Liddel off him but Liddel keeps the position.
Tip manages to work his way to half guard, despite Liddel's best efforts.
Tip is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tip is pressing down on Liddel's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Tip looking for a triangle here. Liddel is fighting it but it looks tight! Tip pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Liddel is tapping out - this one is all over!
