The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones stuffs the takedown.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Oliveira Silva is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones loads up on a big left hand. Oliveira Silva felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jones looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Oliveira Silva can't hide his disappointment, as Jones celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zedicus Jones!
