Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Buddy!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerrr shoots in for a takedown but Buddy shows good takedown defense.
Buddy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kerrr.
Kerrr shoots in and drives through. Buddy sprawls well.
Kerrr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Buddy throws a push kick but Kerrr slaps the foot to one side.
Kerrr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buddy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kerrr throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Buddy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kerrr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buddy swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Kerrr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kerrr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kerrr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kerrr moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kerrr manages to break the clinch.
Buddy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Buddy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kerrr is breathing heavily.
Buddy seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Buddy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Kerrr is looking to escape.
Buddy content to control rather than advance.
Kerrr is not content to let Buddy control the position.
Buddy seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kerrr manages to get to full guard.
Kerrr avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Buddy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kerrr looking for a sweep. Not yet Kerrr, not yet.
Buddy wanted to stand there but Kerrr had control of the position.
Buddy content to stall in guard here.
Buddy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Buddy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Kerrr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Buddy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kerrr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Buddy trying to control the position from guard on top but Kerrr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kerrr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Buddy manages to get himself to full guard.

Kerrr wants to control from the top but Buddy keeps moving.
Kerrr landing some decent shots from guard.


It looks like Robert Buddy has been cut.
Kerrr works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kerrr not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kerrr slows the pace down in half guard.
Kerrr wants to take a breather but Buddy is having none of it.
Buddy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kerrr is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buddy trying to get back to full guard but Kerrr takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Kerrr controlling the position easily from mount.
Buddy is squirming around, avoiding Kerrr's attempts to control the action.
Buddy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kerrr scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kerrr looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
